Skiing 2010: Kitzbuhel, Austria:

On Friday 8th January 32 pupils and 4 members of staff left Oxclose for the Austrian Alps. For 1 week, pupils experienced skiing and improved their skiing ability with the help of qualified skiing instructors. It proved to be a fantastic opportunity and a total success. Please view the images and read the news articles below:

"We all got up and had our breakfast and then we headed straight off to our ski resort. Everyone was so excited and couldn’t wait to get on the slopes. We met our instructors at the front and then we got a bubble lift up to the top of the mountain. Once we got there, we had to get the lifts down. We got to the main area of the resort and were asked if we had skied before. I said yes so I had to go over to the right and the people that said ‘no’ went over to the left hand side. Then we went off with our instructors to our ski school. We learnt a couple of basic things then went on the bigger slopes. The slopes were small, then a little bit bigger, then bigger, then bigger, until we got to some of the hardest slopes on the ski resort". Read more....
